I finally got around to creating an RSS feed of this blog. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and you can read all about it here. You'll notice I opted for the orange "RSS" buttons (check beneath the Recent Entries list on the right) instead of the popular "XML" buttons.
I've got the new Our Lady Peace album "Healthy In Paranoid Times" and now I'd like to rip it to MP3. Once I have it in MP3 like the rest of my collection, I can hear it wherever I want in my iRiver and add it to playlists on my
Netvibes - Yet another useful Ajax site. A lovely complement to my last link.
I'd like to thank Damaso Garcia. As a young boy attending my first ever game at Exhibition Stadium, the greatest thing in my mind was the grand slam. One swing, four runs on the board. At the time, I also felt the grand slam was a great deal rarer than
"All my life I've had one dream, to achieve my many goals."
Suresh Joachim, a resident of Toronto, just broke the Guinness world record for the longest time spent watching TV. He finished today with 69 hours and 48 minutes. We rule.

I happen to enjoy "Family Guy", but it's clearly inpired by "The Simpsons". Mad Magazine transformed the Griffin family into the Simpsons in their latest issue and you can check out the cool cover in this PDF. During my drive to work I pass a billboard for Global TV with
I just corrected a glaring error on this site. I've been time stamping every entry with the current Toronto time and using the abbreviation EST. EST stands for Eastern Standard Time, but Eastern Standard Time is replaced by Eastern Daylight Time in early April until late October. Whenever I use
meebo.com - Exceptional use of Ajax. IM users, try this! YIM and MSN peeps can find my usernames here.
I'd like to thank Kevin Brereton, better known as K-OS. I'm thankful for the following: My belief in the Canadian hip-hop scene has been restored. Finally, after a lengthy delay and first round bye, Raging Storm has a playoff series to play tonight. It's been a while, and I'm not sure if the layoff is a good thing or a bad thing. I've been playing on Thursday nights so I'm not that rusty, but we've
13 regular season Toronto Maple Leafs games will be airing on Leafs TV this year. Leafs TV, of course, is pay-tv, and that means coughing up extra coin to Rogers for the privilege. I pride myself in watching every Leafs game of the season, and without Leafs TV I'm guaranteed
Throughout the past week, I've been trying to assemble a list of ten songs that collectively epitomize the spirit of Canadian music. Pruning this list to ten hasn't been easy but I was up to the challenge. Here are ten Canadian tracks that, to me, represent all that is right
Waaaaaay back in November 2003, I wrote an entry entitled "The Problem With Dubya". In this entry I listed the many things that frightened me about the American president, including the fact he seemed proud that he doesn't watch the news on television, read newspapers or read the news online.
Every Monday I shuffle my entire MP3 collection in iTunes and list the first ten songs that play. Here are the ten tunes I heard today with a new spin. At the end of this list, I'm going to share a personal story about one of the ten. Whatcha Do
Ladder 49: 4.5 out of 10. I found "Ladder 49" so utterly forgettable, I forgot to write this review yesterday despite the fact I watched it Saturday night. I'm tired of these formulaic flicks where you can predict everything that's going to happen. "Ladder 49" wasn't a particularly bad
I've posted four new pictures in Pictures. Earlier today, with the kids goofing around on the couch, I whipped out the camera and caught them mugging for the lens.
Fox isn't making us wait this year. For the past few years, the season premiere of "The Simpsons" has aired after the World Series. That has meant either late October or early November and that has meant the first episode has been the annual Halloween episode. This season we're blessed
Four years ago today, 2,749 people were killed in Manhattan, 184 people died in Washington and 40 died in Pennsylvania as a result of the worst act of terrorism ever to take place on North American soil. Last year on this day, I wrote a detailed account of what
