A Movie ReelZodiac: 8 out of 10.

David Fincher directed "Seven" and "Fight Club", so we know he's got the chops. "Zodiac" is a completely different kind of film but equally compelling. I enjoyed it, and I rarely enjoy any film longer than two hours. "Zodiac" is closer to three hours than two.

It's a big cast of actors you already like and the subject matter is intriguing. This is the film I thought Spike Lee's "Son of Sam" was going to be. It's got a wonderful "All the President's Men" feel to it. Fincher should be proud.

Here's one that I disagree with you on, this movie was far TOO long. It dragged, and just when you thought it was over, it opened up and started from the beginning again. Sorry I'm giving this one a 5 if that.

Funny, see, you had me kinda sold and then the 'bigger cast of characters you already like' came into play. This is what I don't like about Hollywood movies. I really don't want to see the same actors over and over. Don't get me wrong.. often it works, and there are many exceptions.. but I would like to see more variety in Hollywood. It would be welcomed by me. It mike make me watch more movies. I'm the type that just saw Spiderman 3 in December...

Interestingly enough, I saw both Zodiac and Spiderman 3 for the first time in December.

Anyway, I thought Zodiac was pretty damn good; a little disappointed with Spiderman 3 though, but oh well, c'est la vie with sequels.
