Looking For CDs

Hey Raging Stormers, running peeps, neighbours, family and other acquaintances, I'm looking for a few CDs. You know the drill.  I want to get my mitts on the actual CD, not just the digital files.  And yes, I'm aware many of these haven't been "released" yet. Neil Young - Live

RSS in Plain English

I'm tired of explaining RSS.  Previously I've professed my love for the format while admitting many simply don't get it.  I know people don't get it because I'm constantly having to explain it to others. Here's a little video that tries to explain it in plain English.  I just posted

Give Til it Hurts

After several successful seasons which have enabled Fox to essentially print money, American Idol has decided to use their power to raise awareness about poverty in Africa and at home in the United States.  This is all good but why do I feel so cynical about it?  When Seacrest celebrates

The Good Guys Win

At the time I was supposed to put James to bed, the Raptors game was in the fourth quarter.  James is only five, but he's showing a sincere interest in the Raps.  He knows Chris Bosh, the story of Vince Carter and that the camera will sometimes show a big

Remember SARS?

Only four years ago, SARS and Toronto were synonymous.  Everyone knew of someone who was quarantined and people were avoiding the city for fear of becoming afflicted.  I know this was four years ago because I wrote the following entry exactly four years ago today. SARS Update: From the eye

I just lamented about the fact Jill beat me to the punch by submitting The Fratellis' "Flathead" for SLS17 consideration.  It's a catchy as all hell sorta tune and I'm totally digging it. Here are some things I just learnt about The Fratellis. They formed in Glasgow, ScotlandThey go by
