Toronto Morning Radio Hosts in 1992

With Maureen Holloway visiting this afternoon, I was thinking about Marilyn Denis as she wraps up a lengthy tenure as CHUM 104.5 morning show host. Marilyn's been in that position for about 40 years.

I also just posted todays's episode of Humble and Fred, the morning show I'd have listened to on CFNY back in 1992. But who else was on the air hosting Toronto morning radio shows in 1992?

Q107 - Scruff Connors and The Q Morning Zoo
CHUM-FM - Roger Ashby, Rick Hodge and Marilyn Denis
CFNY - Humble Howard Glassman and Fred Patterson (until Humble moves to 99.9)
CHFI: Don Daynard and Erin Davis
Mix 99.9: Tom Rivers (as CKFM) then Humble Howard Glassman
97.3 CJEZ: John Majhor
CISS-FM: Cliff Dumas and Jane Brown

But what of AM, still rather popular in 1992?

CFRB: Wally Crouter
CBL: Joe Coté (then Matt Maychak)
1050 CHUM: Jay Nelson
Country 59: John Donabie
The Fan 1430: Mike Inglis and Joe Bowen
CFTR: Jesse Dylan and Gene Valaitis

The old guard has now left terrestrial radio and this afternoon Maureen and I are going to talk about it.
