The Q107 and Edge 102 Playlist Overlap Is Now 50%

I just clicked over to the "Recently Played on Q107" page and copied every song played between 4:47am and 9:22am. Just a random Tuesday morning selection.

I then bolded every track that would fit in on 102.1 The Edge, now marketed as Iconic Alternative, the other Corus-owned station in town.

54-40 - Lies To Me
Bob Marley - Could You Be Loved
Sloan - The Rest of My Life
Elton John - Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting
Bruce Springsteen - I'm On Fire
Foo Fighters - Times Like These
Our Lady Peace - Naveed
Genesis - That's All
Bush - Machinehead
Tom Cochrane & Red Rider - Lunatic Fringe
AC/DC - Highway To Hell
Headstones - Cubically Contained
Metallica - Enter Sandman
Moist - Push
Sheryl Crow - If It Makes You Happy
Big Wreck - Albatross
The Police - Every Breath You Take
The Tragically Hip - Fully Completely
Linkin Park - Numb
Gowan - Moonlight Desires
Billy Idol - Rebel Yell
The Black Keys - Howlin' For You
Lenny Kravitz - American Woman
Fleetwood Mac - Landslide
Beck - Loser
Foo Fighters - Learn To Fly
Guns N' Roses - Sweet Child O' Mine
Steve Miller Band - The Joker
Red Hot Chili Peppers - By The Way
Alanis Morissette - You Oughta Know
Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead or Alive
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - Learning To Fly
The Tragically Hip - Blow At High Dough
Coldplay - Clocks

Of these 34 songs, 17 could also be heard on 102.1 The Edge. That's precisely 50%. That's some major overlap between the two Corus-owned FM stations.
