I have a vivid memory from when I first started waking up to my clock radio in 1983 (or maybe 1984) and one morning I woke up to the Genesis song "That's All".
I'm not sure why I remember this moment so well, but I had only just clued in that you could wake up to the radio, and that song was playing maybe the first morning I did just that. But here's the thing... I thought Phil Collins was singing "It's always the same, it's just a shame, that song".
I thought this for decades. Then one day, with YouTube at my disposal, I looked up the song and was rather shocked to learn it's called "That's All". Phil was singing "It's always the same, it's just a shame, that's all." #mindblow
"That's All" was the second single released from Genesis's self-titled 1983 album, following "Mama". I never woke up to "Mama", as far as I know.
