Terry Fox has been inspiring me for 45 years, and tonight I had the privilege of attending the premiere viewing of FOTM Sean Menard's new documentary Run Terry Run at Roy Thomson Hall. The score was performed live by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
There was a wealth of footage I'd never seen before as Sean got his hands on dozens of canisters of film that were in storage for the past four decades. It was like a time machine back to 1980, and ever the film we were treated to a chat between Sean and four people seen in the film: Darryl Sittler, Leslie Scrivener, Darrell Fox and Doug Alward.

I'm sure Bill Vigars would have loved to be a part of his if he were still with us. Here's my epic conversation with Bill about his time with Terry.
It was a wonderful night.
