Phil Spector, Dead at 81

Phil Spector was the record producer, musician, and songwriter who developed the Wall of Sound. He produced such iconic songs as “Be My Baby” by The Ronettes, “Then He Kissed Me” by The Crystals, “Unchained Melody” by The Righteous Brothers, "My Sweet Lord" by George Harrison and “Let It Be” by The Beatles.

He was convicted for the 2003 murder of the actress Lana Clarkson.
