The Best Gig Ever

father's dayToday is Father's Day, which means the kids piled into my bed way too early to give me hugs, cards and presents they made.

I've made the super corny statement in the past that every day is Father's Day for me, but it's true. I've been blessed with the two smartest, cutest, sweetest, good-natured kids. Seriously, they're better than I could have ever imagined, and the older they get, the more I like 'em.

Note I used the word "like". It's easy to love them to pieces, but I sincerely like them both and enjoy conversing, playing and just chilling with them. Fatherhood is the best gig ever.

Here are my two babies, getting bigger and better every day.

Impossible. Isn't there a size minimum to procreate?

My 10 ear old daughter gave me a homemade card with coupons in it, bake dad 1 batch of cookies, 1 free hug. 1 hour on the laptop.

My 15 year old gave me a card.

All I asked of my spouse was not to holler at me today.

I planned to take the kids to a movie today but my fillre on the pool decided to break and spew sand into our above ground pool. Found out my parts for the sand filtre are hard to find. Bought a new filtre. I guess that 2nd PVR will have to wait.

Kids are great....... most of the time.

If there is, I've got nothing to worry about since you managed to squeeze out two.

Don't you hate it when the filter on the pool breaks? This is why I stick to above ground plastic turtle models.

And Elvis, if it's a daughter, promise me you'll name her Priscilla. And congrats, b/c it's the best thing you'll produce, trust me.
