Earlier this afternoon I glanced at my site and felt an itch I had to scratch.  I realized it's been over a year since the last major change to the look and feel of these pages so I started hacking away at the CSS in an attempt to freshen her

Hip Clarification

I previously mentioned that The Tragically Hip will be making a cameo appearance on "Corner Gas" on February 28, 2005.  It turns out The Tragically Hip and Colin James are both scheduled to star in an upcoming episode of the show, but it's actually set to air on March 14,

The Last Samurai

The Last Samurai: 7 out of 10. The Last Samurai looks pretty cool. They do a great job recreating rural Japan in the 1870s and the fight scenes look great.  Although it's a little cliché, the story isn't half bad either and Ken Watanabe does a fantastic job as Katsumoto.

Over a year ago I celebrated the uncancellation of Family Guy.  It's a damn funny show and it will be back on Fox sometime this spring. If you're a fan, there's a Family Guy Blog maintained by the producers of the show promising "exclusive looks at script pages, guest stars,

A Misplaced "e"

Over the past twenty-four hours, this site has been getting hundreds of referrals from searches for amber frye pictures where I'm the first site listed in Google.  I immediately wondered two things. Why are people so anxious to see pictures of her?  Don't we already know what she looks like?

The BBC On Blogs

Blog readership has shot up by 58% in the last year, according to this article from the BBC.  Obviously a lot more people are reading blogs, but only 7% of the 120 million US adults who use the internet actually maintain a blog. My favourite line from this BBC article

Canada 6, Russia 1

The World Junior Hockey Championship has returned to Canada for the first time since 1997.  We were victorious at the 2002 Olympics, captured two consecutive IIHF world titles and won the World Cup of Hockey back in September.  We rule the hockey universe, without a doubt. I can't say enough
