As discussed with Dave Rosencrans from Sub Pop on yesterday's episode of Toronto Mike'd, Never Mind the Molluscs was a Sub Pop release featuring Maritimes band (and one from Montreal).
Released in March 1993, Never Mind the Molluscs includes:
- Sloan, "Pillow Fight"
- Jale, "Lung"
- Eric's Trip, "Blue Sky for Julie/Smother"
- Idée du Nord, "Iodine Eyes"
The above cassette, the real deal from '93, was gifted to me by Dave and I am honoured. Unfortunately, I don't have the artwork, but I am told it was from none other than FOTM Andrew Scott.
