I was at Sugar Beach in downtown Toronto on Saturday afternoon.
I took a short panning video of Lake Ontario and tried to share it on Instagram as an Instagram Story with "Lake Ontario" as the text overlay and the song "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" as the audio. Specifically, this part of the song:
And farther below Lake Ontario
Takes in what Lake Erie can send her
And the iron boats go as the mariners all know
With the gales of November remembered
When I tried to post it, I got this notification from Instagram (see above). It still let me post the Story as is but made me wonder if Meta is trying to dissuade people from talking about Lake Ontario on their app?
I would be interested to know if other people have encountered this notification in response to Lake Ontario posts.
