Much has been written in this space (and discussed on Toronto Mike'd) about the SCTV reunion filmed at the Elgin Theatre on May 13, 2018. Martin Scorsese was directing the reunion special for Netflix and special guests included Joe Flaherty, Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin, Catherine O'Hara, Martin Short, and Dave Thomas. Two of those talented people have subsequently passed on.
Scorsese clearly got distracted by other priorities, and it started to look like this film would never see the light of day.
The good news is that this documentary was finally finished and will be streaming on Netflix under a new title "SCTV: The Greatest Show You’ve Never Heard Of". I personally hate that title, because it's clearly made for Americans. Who in the great white north hasn't heard of SCTV?
Jason Hehir, the director of the Michael Jordan docuseries The Last Dance, stepped in to direct. Scorsese, it seems, disappeared from the production. Here's the description for us hosers.

"SCTV: The Greatest Show You’ve Never Heard Of" starts streaming on October 30 to coincide with Netflix streaming all episodes of Second City Television.
