Many of you are sending me Instagram reels regarding Patricia Jaggernauth, but I'm unable to verify those claims and therefore won't amplify that news here. I'd rather take a moment to talk about the Emmy award Patricia Jaggernauth claims she won.
It's literally in the first line of Patricia Jaggernauth's bio. https://patriciajtv.com/ is littered with the phrase "*EMMY AWARD WINNING* Television Host".
Even a Google of her name reminds you "Patricia Jaggernauth is an EMMY Award Winning & North American award winning television and media personality".
When Patricia Jaggernauth quit CP24 and filed a human rights complaint against Bell Media, alleging "a systemic pattern" of racism, sexism and discrimination, I became intrigued by the fact she described herself as "an EMMY Award Winning" media personality while Bell Media dialled that down to "host, writer and producer at Emmy® Award-winning digital television channel BITE TV."
Bell Media, I've learned, was being factual. Patricia Jaggernauth has never won an Emmy award, but she did work at BITE TV when that digital channel won an International Emmy Award in 2007 for "Best Interactive Channel". Others who worked at BITE TV during this period include FOTMs Jason Agnew and Brian Dunn. Neither assert they're an Emmy Award winner.
In this podcaster's opinion, it's disingenuous to make the claim you're an Emmy Award winner while posing with an Emmy Award when you were merely one of many people at a digital television channel when that outlet won an International Emmy Award.
Patricia Jaggernauth was recently hired to be the new morning show host at Flow 98.7. That outlet repeats the misleading claim that Patricia Jaggernauth "is an Emmy Award-winning television host".
