Yesterday, I settled in to watch Canada vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina in World Cup action, live from BMO Field. I still can't believe I typed that sentence. An actual men's World Cup soccer match in my very own backyard.
Canada had never won a World Cup match, going 0-6. But yesterday, a fresh Cyle Larin came to the rescue with an equalizer that tied the match, earning us a valuable point and holding Bosnia and Herzegovina to the same.
Qatar is up next, and this country is ready for another first.
