For months I've been working on a one-man-show of sorts that I'll perform at the El Mocambo tomorrow night. Rob Pruess was to be my opening act, and my Paul Shaffer providing musical cues throughout my 90-minute set. Then, a little over 24 hours from show time, Rob called me to say he can't make it to Toronto in time.
I discussed the details in this episod of Life's Undertaking, recorded this afternoon with Brad Jones from Ridley Funeral Home.
That was a curveball. But the game goes out. My opening act is now Blair Packham from The Jitters and I know he'll be great. He won't be my Paul Shaffer, however, so I'll be making a few adjustments to my show so it doesn't rely on any musical cues.
Here's the new sked:
6:30pm - Doors Open
7pm - Blair Packham performs
8pm - I perform
9:30pm - The Grand Finale
Tickets are still available. Join us or risk becoming the last of the red hot fools!
