My oldest daughter is a university graduate, and I'm very proud. It was my honour to spend hours at McGill's Tomlinson Fieldhouse just to see that 30 seconds when they announced my daughter's name and she walked on stage to receive her degree.
The weather in Montreal was perfect and we crammed a great deal into a whirlwind two-day stay. I'm typing this on a train heading home to Toronto.

Here's what we accomplished:
- we drank beer in Jeanne-Mance Park
- we ate smoked meat sandwiches and poutine at Schwartz's Deli
- we drank craft beer at a micro brewery in The Plateau
- we enjoyed Michelle's convocation
- we celebrated with lunch
- we spent time with Habs fans outside the Bell Centre
- we watched the game while drinking and eating at La Cage
- we walked ~40km
Congrats to my daughter, and to the thousands of Habs fans I saw, my humble apologies for bringing Leafs luck with me from Toronto.
