In the 2018 Toronto municipal election, Mark Grimes was re-elected as Councillor for Ward 3 Etobicoke—Lakeshore. That's where I live. Grimes had been there since 2003, well before I got there. Amber Morley finished second.

In 2022, Amber Morley did something that's very difficult to do in municipal politics. She defeated the incumbent, and became Councillor for Ward 3. Perhaps her Toronto Mike'd debut put her over the top.

We're going back to the polls later this year and Etobicoke—Lakeshore is braced for the Morley vs. Grimes rubber match. I fully expect both to run in the 2026 Toronto municipal election.
Morley will return for her third visit to the TMDS basement studio. Grimes is more than welcome to make his debut.
