I just came across a picture of the TMDS basement studio that I posted on Facebook eight years ago today. This is how things looked back then.

There were no cameras in the studio, just me and a guest shooting the breeze on Toronto Mike'd. I used a Mackie ProFX 8 board and the same Rode mics I use today. Those three chairs were a gift from Bluesky Agency and the tables and carpet all came from Ikea.
Here's how things look today. The only holdovers are the Maestro Fresh-Wes 12 inch single of Let Your Backbone Slide, the Doug Flutie bobblehead and my DVD boxset of The Wire.

Same space, same tables, same chairs, same carpet, same mics, same cables, same boom arms and same spirit.
