Proud Of My Boy

Yesterday was a PD Day, so my 11-year-old was home all day. My scheduled guest yesterday morning was the Executive Director at Na-Me-Res Steve Teekens, who works closely with homeless and marginalized communities in Toronto.

Here are some facts about Steve:

1. He's the grandchild of a residential school survivor
2. He's the child of someone who survived the Sixties Scoop

My youngest son had questions for Steve about both, so he co-hosted the episode.

Together, we had a fabulous conversation with Steve and I was so proud of my boy.
