I had a little fun earlier this year when I chased down Marc Maron and passed him in terms of the number of episodes we've each dropped. Marc Maron, as I write, is at 1648. This afternoon, when Steve Paikin visits for his "exit interview", I'll record and drop episode 1703 of Toronto Mike'd.
Marc Maron has dropped this bomb on WTF. WTF is is coming to an end.
We're tired, we're burnt out and we are utterly satisfied with the work we've done. This doesn't mean I'm never going to do something like this again. But for now we're just wrapping things up
It sounds like the final episode will drop this fall. WTF launched during that period between me producing the early Humble and Fred podcasts in 2006 and our decision to do it regularly in 2011. Toronto Mike'd launched in 2012.
