Half way thru and have only heard a few of my picks for the year, (obviously, expect I will be hearing my top picks in the top 20 or so). So my spoiler predictions, Dave's top 5 must be: Devon Welsh, Tiny Ruins, Anna McClelland, Alice Phoebe Lou, Sudan Archives.

Don't know where to begin with this one. While I admire Mr. Hodge's dedication and constant
pursuit of the newest and latest music, despite what was proclaimed on this episode, I found
this to be a largely somewhat homogenous, overly-honky-tonkin' affair (the mentioning of Alejandro
Escovedo (Sheila E's uncle!) notwithstanding!) And I know, Yer Jams are Yer Jams and all that!! Still,
gotta admit that I enjoyed that Willie Nile track (haven't heard or thought about him in nearly 30
years). Furthermore, I also applaud his staunch commitment to enjoying albums intheir entirety. Still, it would have been nice for an extreme Swedish Death Metal change-up or two. End of sermon. Fully ready for some pre-Christmas 'dwllr73 carvin'!!!

Hey Mike,
Just finished listening to this one....Fantastic!
Amazed at Dave's knowledge of new music and the passion he has for live music.
It would be great if Dave did a Podcast alternating between sports and music.
I didn't see this episode on the Google Spreadsheet. Will it be updated?
Was a Spotify playlist ever made?

Toronto Mike Verified as the defacto Toronto Mike

Yes indeed!

At the bottom of the KOTJ spreadsheet ( there's a tab for Hodge's top 100 of all-time and his top 100 of 2018. On those pages there's a Spotify and Apple Music playlist.
