Maybe there should be a CAA for Bicycles.
I once gave a cyclist a lift from Mississauga to the St. Josephs hospital area as both of his tires had blown from running over glass. I was waiting to get on to Royal Windsor and I saw him pushing his bike. He was going to Canadian tire to see if he could get some tubes to get him home.

There's an idea... you're a good man! Many a time I've had to walk my bike home because a tire blew. That's why I now ride with puncture-proof tires. They're not indestructible, but I have way fewer flats.

It's so hot that you would blow a tire. Erotic.

Aside, puncture-resistant tires have treated me well. 8500+ KM on my Gatorskins without a single flat ... just replaced them because I'd been riding with a ripped sidewall for over 1000 KM. I have Schwalbe Marathons on my utility bike, and they've survived 1000 KM without a flat. Before I switched to the Marathons, the stock tires were blowing every 2-3 weeks of regular use.
