I always like winter scenes like this. Despite the much-colder winter last year, I loved going down to the Lake Ontario shoreline to see the ice formations. There isn't much to see there this year, even after the past few days' much colder than normal temperatures. The fog right above the lake surface was interesting on Saturday and Sunday. Wispy clouds rising from inches above the water, but only until maybe 100 feet (30 metres) up, then it's back to a sunny blue sky.

You can see Lake Ontario behind me in this shot I took yesterday.

This weekend, a number of ice formations showed up... nothing like last February, but still pretty cool. (no pun intended)

@ Douglas, the ice fog was cool, haven't seen this in a few years. I happen to be going to Hamilton Saturday, and view over Lake Ontario from the sky way bridge was very cool.
