@ TorontoMike: I think Elvis is full of it when he said no one even knows down town the games are on. I call even more BS on the mention of he didn't even get that they were going on when he went to the TFC game last weekend. If you couldn't tell the PAN AM games were on or that people were having fun in relation to the games then he must have taken the secret tunnel to BMO field that brings up under the grass.

As i don't live in TO, I do feel a little disconnected from the games. But I have been watching them on CBC and enjoying them for the most part.

I don't know why they're called the Toronto Pan-Am games when a good chunk of the events are not in Toronto or even the GTA for that fact.

@Ben V - I've been downtown at the Eaton Centre for every weekday of the games (minus yesterday and today). I assure you, not only is foot traffic very light, there is no buzz regarding the games.

As far as the TFC game is concerned, I could see Pan Am park and one venue (beach volleyball maybe) as I walked to BMO but since I walked from the GO station to BMO, my interaction with the games was limited. It was busy, sure, but I was on foot for the start and finish of the TFC game - 99% of the shirts on people's back were red at the time.

Taking the Go Train to Pan Am Park tonight to watch the relay on the big screen and to see "Cirque Inspiral" with my 9 and 6 year old daughters. It's going to be an awesome evening!

Another awesome episode! (a little pro-Lou but that'll change soon enough). The Lou anecdote that no one in Tor has mentioned is when he stood at the bottom of the escalator where workers that were just fired in NJ had to descend and laughed at them...meanwhile 'Shanny' said earlier that he only wants guys with good character. Anyways, a really fun hour, Mike and Elvis. Love the topics and chemistry.
