Six years ago, I put together a wedding playlist for my brother's wedding. I shared the wedding playlist in an entry entitled 100 Wedding Songs.
I have renewed interest in updating this list of wedding songs. I'm not a fan of cheesy, poppy wedding songs, but cooler tunes like Pearl Jam's cover of "Throw Your Arms Around Me" and U2's "All I Want Is You". According to Side One, a wedding band in Toronto the number one requested song in the last few years is "I wanna dance with somebody".
I'm going to start building this list in this entry, but I need your help. Please leave a comment with cool songs you think would be ideal for a cool Toronto wedding.
No "Last Dance" and the like... not interested. I'd rather hear Radiohead's "True Love Waits".
