Maple Leafs 0, Thrashers 5

LeafsWe had outscored the Thrashers 37-9 in our eight straight wins before last night's debacle. In three straight losses we've scored a whopping two goals. We've lost six of our past eight.

LeafsI know you're itching to press this panic button, but don't do it. It's premature overreaction. We're in a slump, no doubt, but I'd rather go through this now than revisit that total collapse we experienced last year when McCabe went down.

The fact is, Montreal is clearly second in the division, Ottawa has survived their slump and is making a charge and even Boston could overtake us once they make up their games in hand. If all the teams with games in hand actually win them, we could be looking at 12th in the conference. On the other hand, you might want to click that button after all. No wait... let's see if we bounce back against the Habs Saturday night first.

Booner,

That game last night frustrated me so much that Jordy was asking why I was in such a bad mood. I can't stand watching the Leafs these days, the last few games were unbearable. However, I will in Montreal watching them this Saturday...they better show up this time.

Speaking of Jordy, tell her I went to see her on Wednesday but she wasn't to be found.

I thought we had a Wednesday thing...

Mike, so you think this is a slump eh? I think this is just the way the leafs are going to play the rest of the season. Just up to their standards. Probably won't make the play offs
Can anyone score on this team?

It's nice to hear from the Grinch again...

My biggest concern last summer was our team's scoring potential. They faked us out for a bit, but now I agree with Kic. It's tough to watch this team right now.
