Over on another page I maintain, Smells Like Sour, there are numerous discussions taking place on the latest tunes. Every once in a while I throw my two cents in the pot and comment on what I think of a particular song or band. This has interesting consequences.
I've made a few negative comments about Good Charlotte and as a result I get nasty little one line comments via my Contact Mike page telling me what an idiot I must be for not thinking Good Charlotte is the greatest band in the world. The other day I made a brief comment on the page for Hoobastank's "The Reason". I wrote the following. "This song is really whiny. It's just annoying." I wrote that because it's how I feel. I've liked Hoobastank songs in the past, but this one is a sappy, corny, syropy mess.
The folllowing was sent via the Contact Mike form as a result. I'm copying it as it was received, complete with grammatical and spelling errors, just so you can see the kind of stuff I have to deal with.
