I've started crafting my one-man-show that I'll perform at the El Mocambo on May 21. For the past couple of months, I'd think of something on a bike ride and take a note. I literally say "Google, take a note" and then my next words are documented in Google Keep. Then, I dump it all into a Google Doc and I start to massage it.
There are musical cues that Rob Preuss will play, so I've been letting him know the songs I'll need from him. Rob has my blessing to create an all-star band.
I'm crafting this performance, but it won't be fully scripted. Depending upon who shows up, there will be improvised content. My aim is simply to make it an enjoyable night for all who attend.
