Nash The Slash Rises Again! Is Great!

Last Friday, I recorded an episode of Toronto Mike'd all about Nash The Slash Rises Again!, with the director Tim Kowalksi, writer Kevan Byrne, sound guy Rob Preuss and Friendly Rich, who put together the tribute album. Colin Brunton was scheduled to appear, but he chose warmer climes instead.

Last night, I finally saw the documentary and I loved it. They did a great job telling this story of an enigma wrapped in bandages. Of course there was plenty of FM chatter in the doc, and it was great to meet FM's Cam Hawkins, who has agreed to visit for a deeper dive.

After the documentary screening at the Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema, there was a Q&A followed by live music. FOTM Ian Blurton opened things off with a great cover of FM's "Phasors on Stun", their big hit and a song I absolutely adore. I took some video for ya.

Thank you Rob Preuss for making me your +1!
