FOTM Jamar McNeil is leaving the CHUM morning show to join FOTM Josie Dye in the afternoon. Jamar made the announcement this morning on 104.5.
When Jamar arrived in Toronto back in 2018, he dropped by to tell us a little more about himself. He returned to Toronto Mike'd the next year to kick out the jams. He's joining Josie Dye who left mornings on Indie88 to replace FOTM Meredith Shaw on CHUM when Meredith was named the new co-host of Breakfast Television, replacing Dina Pugliese.
Who will replace Jamar on CHUM alongside Marilyn Denis? My money is on her son Adam Wylde (and Jax), who recently left Virgin 99.9 and was replaced by Daryn Jones. In the meantime, Luke Rodriguez of Virgin Radio in Edmonton is keeping the seat warm.
