Thanks for getting to the bottom of Sammy and Cam Gordon's "Completely Ignored" podcast hiatus
quite early in this episode. Been nearly a year since their last episode, but truthfully your Herculean
blogging and podcast efforts will always be number one in both my heart and ears!!! P.S., episode
number 99 from those fellas featured Mr. 12:36 discussing his appreciation of the Talking Heads
"Stop Making Sense" live album release! P.P.S., Doug Bennett died in 2004 and so his titular band
now features a singer named Ted Okos. And as for Doug and the Slugs' music, we certainly can't omit their Q107 staple "Tomcat Prowl" from 1988.

Just resumed listening to yesterday's episode, and I'm at the part where you blasted out The Bangles "Eternal Flame." Quite fascinated by the discussion revolving around folks such as yourself and numerous guests who are pop cultural minutiae obsessives. As someone who more than capably fits under that particular (nerdy?) designation, I'm wondering if there are membership cards available, and if so, then how does a broke-assed Spectrumite like ol 'dwllr73 become a member of said club? I don't mean to toot my own horn, (honest!), but my bonafides are beyond reproach in that regard! Still impatiently waiting for my (long) shot opportunity at a future Toronto Mike'd panel seat so at least I can cross one item off of my pretty dismal bucket list...

Well, to be technically accurate and correct (always!) almost every episode from 12:36's first
appearance (#173) give or take 10 to 12 episodes, but hopefully I'll catch up on the rest before
the next Guns N' Roses album arrives!!

A couple of corrections:

@Mike- "Angel Eyes" went to number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, but also quite possible that it secured a higher ranking on the rock and/or adult contemporary charts.

Sammy-XTC was a band from England, not the United States. Although they did record a couple of their latter awesome albums in the States, "Skylarking" and "Oranges & Lemons"
