What a pleasant Monday afternoon surprise: The much requested and now finally delivered return
of both Camp Tournesol as a proud TM'd sponsor and that great Nana Mouskouri "Le Tournesol" track. So excited!!

What ever became of the idea you talked about with Gord Deppe (I believe?) about the two
of you two trying to enlist as 'well-seasoned' camp members? Also, can't get enough of that
Remember the Time feature, especially with today's awesome Debbie Gibson edition. Also, not
ashamed to admit that the waterworks due to memories of more innocent came quickly. On
an almost related note, release of an entirely different sort would occur fifteen or so years
later when both D. Gibson and her once and future rival Tiffany both appeared in the formerly great pages of Playboy (in the early Aughts). For the uninitiated, Ms. Gibson's pictorial was the
more demure of the two, whilst Ms. Darwish was 'artificially sweetened' but still oh-so-hot!!

Hi Mike. I'm pretty late to the party with your podcast, but have been listening to a lot of the old episodes lately and thoroughly enjoying them. I actually listened to your Nelson Millman interview yesterday, and something occurred to me. At no point in that interview, or in the shows with other people associated with The Fan, was the topic of National Sports Radio brought up. Do you remember that brief period when Telemedia tried to run The Fan's evening programming on a national network of stations? (I'm not sure if this was to compete against The Team's national presence but I think it was around the same time period if I recall.) And the experiment failed pretty miserably, but it's like it never happened because it's hard to find any documentation of it online. There were even stories of hosts doing programs for nobody because both The Fan and the other affiliates were covering local play-by-play of their NHL teams at the time. I hope this topic is discussed next time you have a vintage host from The Fan come in.

Keep up the great work.

Sad that there aren't more comments for a good guy like Steve. Also sad that you go after the Sun for its political slant, which you never do for the Liberal Party state organ the Toronto Star.

For what it's worth, there's little correlation between number of comments here and number of downloads. Many enjoyed Beezer's visit and I'll have him on again.
