Spoiler alert: Toronto Mike'd has now become the TMZ of the pre-school set!! Have to admit
that I will find it hard to continue living in a world in which these two tremendous performers
have admitted to being former spouses!! Kudos to Mike for getting to the bottom of this important
question 8 months after their initial appearance!! Although as mentioned, they did admit to formerly
being a couple in their previous episode. P.S., I think that Boots looked even cuter/more attractive
in this picture than she did in that more unintentionally revealing pic from back in September! Gotta be that leather jacket and that nice dog, of course!!

No TPL holds for the recent Splash 'N Boots albums as of yet but I do believe that they are still in the
process of cataloging it. From the brief samples of a couple of their songs during this episode, I'm
willing to risk being put on some kind of watchlist ('cos I don't have kids) and request it just because...

Even if you don't have kids or grandkids in the Splash N' Boots demo, you will enjoy this episode. I promise.

That's why I suggested earlier on another thread that you request their participation in the forth-
coming Toronto Mike/GLB event!! Very appealing personalities and their singalongs to their
various jams were a lot of fun. Based on their eclectic taste in jams, I can totally see them
folking(?)/rocking out to various classic pop/rock songs for a more adult crowd!!

I'm on board! Splash'N Boots and Bif Naked. We're going to do it on a Thursday night this summer.

Great I have Fridays off this summer. First beer is on me Mike!!!!

Biff 'N Boots and Splash 'N Snake sounds like a great new Canadian supergroup in the making!!
P.S., there is another (barely semi)-famous Canadian Snake: Denis "Snake" Belanger, the lead
vocalist of Voivod, a metal band from Quebec. You're forgiven if you've never heard of them.
Great cover of Pink Floyd's "Astronomy Domine" back in 1989.

Never heard of them!

That particular track by Voivod was featured in fairly heavy rotation on Much back in the day.
Jason Newsted (ex-Metallica) was in the band for a few years in the early aughts. Interesting group.

My nephew knows these two and man did you make them interesting! That was way fun!

Thanks for asking all those divorce questions. It's a topic I'm morbidly fascinated by.

I'm married to my best friend. We have an amazing relationship of over 13 years, and still every single day is new and exciting.

But there's often this nagging voice asking "wtf is with the divorce rate" -- like why doesn't everyone have as great a marriage? Am I just in denial? Or I wonder how people change so significantly. Frankly Splash'N Boots' version is mildly reassuring.

(Also I subscribe to Dan Savage's take on the topic -- divorce doesn't mean "failed relationship", and it's quite morbid to peg a "successful marriage" by the idea that it lasts until one or both of the partners dies.)

James Edgar

well I'm seriously behind on Toronto Miked and wouldn't have thought to start with this one only it was there on my phone and well i just hit play and went for it.

Fun. Some great tunes and even as someone without any kids in that demo they turned out to be quite interesting.

I have to agree with them Sara Harmer has an amazing voice love that Songs for Clem CD.

@Mike, when I heard this episode and the suggestion of Bif and Splash & Boots, I got excited! Don't have kids but the Splash & Boots episodes were great! Looking forward to that Thursday night!
