From the US I like:

1. Illegal Howard Stern podcast (fan brewed for those of us who don't subscribe to SiriusXM)
2. How Did This Get Made?
3. The Nerdist
4. Marc Maron's WTF podcast
5. NPR's Pop Culture Happy Hour

As an FYI to Mike's post.
Geeks & Beats is on their (brief) summer hiatus.

I believe they're back in early September.

Cannot listen to Shapiro...

I agree with the above about Todd Shapiro's show. It was great at the beginning but recently it goes on and on about nothing. Last week he was in NYC and spent the first 40 mins of the show talking to his co-hosts with no point to the conversations.

It's geared toward the younger, male demographic so maybe that's why it's not for me.
I've given up for now but will give it another chance in the next few months.

There's a Calgary couple who do a podcast I quite enjoy. They talk about everything.

It's called Tip Tap Tip. You can find them on iTunes or here....

CANADALAND with Jessie Brown (formerly of Search Engine).
Conspiracy Queries with Alan Park.

And for that CAN-AM bridge,
Marek vs Wyshynski

I'd like to hear Jonathan Torrens and Jeff Marek get together on the same podcast, don't know who the host would be- maybe that Mike guy. It would go about 4 hrs.

The Stuff You Should Know Podcast is pretty good too.

James Edgar

I haven't listened to Todds so i can't comment but I do Like Mikes and geeks and beats.

I just don't get much time to listen.

One podcast i like a lot is The Pace Podcast:

Of course it's all about motorcycles so It probably has a limited audience

So, basically you're only recommended two podcasts seeing as one is your own and you're best buds with the other two?

No, I'm recommending 5 podcasts, one of which is my own.

H & F have become unlistenable lately too. The only time I come close to laughing is whenever (and it's often) Fred mentions how "clever" their brand of humor is, but instead, I usually end up throwing up a little in my mouth.
I must be insane though cuz I keep listening hoping it will get better, but it just gets worse. Too bad.

Love Shapiro. My GF pees when I listen. Not because she likes it but because she leaves the room to go pee. I love it.
