Our Wedding Duet: Anyone Else But You

Our Wedding Duet: Anyone Else But You

Following Monica's speech last Saturday, she wanted to sing a duet.  I tried to talk her out of it but she was certain it would be fun.  As usual, she was right.

Here we are singing our own rendition of The Mouldy Peaches' "Anyone Else But You".  The lyrics are below the video.  I apologize in advance for our inability to hold a tune.

You're my full-time lover and a full-time friend
The mane on your head was never the latest trend
I don't see what anyone can see
In anyone else but you
I kiss you on the brain during Leaf games
I kiss you all starry eyed, like Reimer skating from side to side
I don't see what anyone can see
In anyone else but you
I'm so damn glad that I've met my equal
We sure are great for two married people
I don't see what anyone can see
in anyone else but you
My love for you is completely out of whack
The mayor of this city really loves his crack
I don't see what anyone can see
In anyone else but you
I will find your glove in my car
With your chewing gum and chocolate bars,
I don't see what anyone can see
In anyone else but you
We both are cool with our difference in age
You want more kids, I need to hit the batting cage
I don't see what anyone can see
In anyone else but you
