Win Tickets to Cirque du Soleil in Toronto

ticketsCirque du Soleil has given me a pair of tickets to see their TOTEM show at the Grand Chapiteau here in Toronto on August 11. I'm going to give both tickets away to someone who leaves a comment on this entry.

Simply leave a comment here telling me how you first found this blog. I'll randomly pick a winner on June 30, 2011. Make sure you fill in the email field so I can contact you with the good news.

Here's the Cirque du Soleil marketing spiel:

TOTEM traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. The characters evolve on a stage evoking a giant turtle, the symbol of origin for many ancient civilizations.

Inspired by many founding myths, TOTEM illustrates, through a visual and acrobatic language, the evolutionary progress of species.

Somewhere between science and legend TOTEM explores the ties that bind Man to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential.

Here's some Youtubery:

And here's a pretty poster for Cirque du Soleil's TOTEM:

Hey TorontoMike!

First started reading this blog by clicking on a Facebook link about the death of Edge personality Martin Streek. Definitely not the happiest of posts to be introduced to a blog...but I haven't stopped reading it since!

Thanks for the fun/interesting reads,

Looking at Toronto Blogs and liked the way you wrote. I felt I could relate to you and when you wrote about Jane Creba I delurked myself to write my first post. It was so cathartic and a cool way to be interactive that I started my own blog. You were then and still one of the coolest bloggers around.
