2007 Juno Awards

tragicallyhipThey've announced the nominees for the 2007 Juno Awards in Saskatoon. The Tragically Hip received four nominations: Group Of The Year, Rock Album Of The Year, Jack Richardson Producer Of The Year and CD/DVD Artwork Design Of The Year.

I'm surprised they missed out on a nomination for single of the year for In View. For fun, here are the nominees for Rock Album of the Year.

  • Billy Talent II - Billy Talent
  • Tomorrow Starts Today - Mobile
  • Chemical City - Sam Roberts
  • Never Hear The End Of It - Sloan
  • World Container - The Tragically Hip

Hey Mike, I agree. I just love that song, it is a bit different than what I expect from the band. But I like it so much that I listed it as my 5th fav Hip song. And to thing that until 2001, I hadn't even heard about this band!

I have to agree with CC. As much as I love the Hip, Sam Roberts has an amazing album.
