The Toronto Maple Leafs are currently in twelth place in the Eastern Conference. Only ten days ago I complained about being teased. Apparently the blue and white read that entry and decided to drop the charade. They're a twelth place team and they're playing like a twelth place team.
On the bright side, maybe they'll finally gut the pig. Damien Cox had some good ideas in yesterday's Star. He suggests getting rid of everybody except Mats Sundin, Tomas Kaberle, Darcy Tucker, Alexei Ponikarovsky, Alex Steen and Mikael Tellqvist. It's that kind of radical overhaul that's so desperately required.
