As a busy Sunday draws to a close I realize I won't have to go into the office tomorrow. This long weekend is just 2/3rds complete thanks to some long dead Queen of Britain nobody in Canada actually cares about.
The idea of honouring a Queen with a holiday seems ludicrous in 2005, but the idea of giving everybody this Monday off seems genius. Join me in re-branding tomorrow's holiday, for one year only, Chuck Cadman Day. Firecrackers begin at dusk.
