5.59 ERA Jay

5.59 ERA JayWhile the New York Yankees were introducing their latest acquisition Randy Johnson to the media and the New York Mets were introducing their free agent aquisition Carlos Beltran, the Toronto Blue Jays were busy making a big announcement of their own. The Jays have landed Scott Schoeneweis.

Schoeneweis owns a career record of 36-41 with a 5.16 ERA with the Anaheim Angels and Chicago White Sox. In the 2004 season, he made 20 appearances, including 19 starts, with Chicago posting a 6-9 record with a 5.59 ERA.

Wow. We're going to suck yet again, aren't we? I'm beginning to understand how die hard Clippers fans feel.
