Guest Blog Entry

This world is becoming an absolute joke. Our so called gov't won't send DART to the Tsunami victims because they haven't asked & the U.S. has sent minimal coin to aid the relief effort. My twins ask each day what the toll is as of now. 13 year old boys care more about this catastrophe than our superiors. Both Chris & Andrew ask what they can do to help & they are both willing to give up their Xmas gifts of cash to help. Tomorrow I am going to donate their Xmas & Birthday gifts of cash to the Red Cross. PLEASE, anyone reading this message consider donating anything to help.

      A Family Who Cares.

If anyone's looking for a link to the Canadian Red Cross and their secure online donation page, please read this entry from earlier in the week.

I just read that our federal government will match the generosity of Canadians dollar-for-dollar until January 11th. This includes money donated to the Canadian Red Cross. Furthermore, in addition to the $40 million in aid announced so far, we're freezing debt repayment for the hardest-hit countries. I'm still ticked off over the DART delay, but at least a 17-member reconnaissance is on their way to Sri Lanka and Indonesia. Is it all enough? It's not even close, and that where you and I and the commercial sector come in to play.

Give what you can.
