We were a friends for a new tears day dinner and I totally missed the show last night.

THANKS so much for this.

What amazing covers !

The strength of the songs is so evident when played by others , especially in such diverse styles.

I'm a bordline Tragically Hip fan, yet I got chills just reading this list. Twill ne'er happen but would love to hear Lindsey Buckingham perform 'Fully Completely'...

Handsome Rob

It's too bad Dallas Greens cover of Bobcageyon wasn't on the list. There are a few different versions on YouTube for those interested. I think the one from Edmonton is best.

Quite the collection here. Looking forward to getting through most of this.

Thanks for posting TM.

What's better than a single, 4 hour MP3?

How about it broken into songs and tracks? 86 MP3s in all for your enjoyment.

Moved to tears. Thank you! I return again and again to the Cowboy Junkies cover of 'Little Bones' - just brilliant! But all of the covers really speak to the artistry and the writing of this beloved band and our Gord.

Thank you!!
The Cowboy Junkies, “Little Bones” cover moved me to tears. I hope Gord is listening to this beautiful tribute and feeling the love.

I even know one of the guys who was doing the filming. But I don't have any idea when it will be released, just that there's footage and I'm pretty sure we'll see it one day soon.

Thank-you so much to Kevin Archibald for breaking down the individual songs. I was looking on You Tube to no avail, and I am grateful I came across Toronto Mike and this message board. Looking forward to hearing Limblifter cover "50 Mission Cap"!
What is your favourite song from the compilation, everyone/anyone?!

As for my favourite Tragically Hip moment, Gord flubbing the first line to "Grace Too" on SNL. And Dan Akroyd's proud intro while wearing a Canada t-shirt.
