Remember when overrated rock band Kiss held that online contest to determine where they'll play on their upcoming tour? Oshawa won that contest and was named the KISS capital. Apparently, KISS "guaranteed" the top three finishers would get a KISS show.
KISS have unveiled the dates for their KISS ALIVE/35: 2009 North American Tour and the closest to Oshawa on the list is good ol' Toronto. Somehow, I don't think that's what the city of Oshawa was expecting when they declared KISS Week and voted en masse.
Cheer up, Oshawa. They might just be the most overrated band, ever.
