Maple Leafs 4, Oilers 1

Go Leafs Go!I have always enjoyed watching my Leafs take on the Oilers. This dates back to the bleak 80s when the hottest ticket in town was always when the all-star Oilers visited Maple Leaf Gardens and the bottom feeder Maple Leafs. Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Jari Kurri, Paul Coffey, Glenn Anderson and Grant Fuhr never disappointed.

The Oilers are no longer a team of all-stars but they're still an exciting team to watch. On this night, they were simply no match for the blue and white. Alexander Mogilny led the way with two goals and an assist while Eddie was steady making 34 saves. With 50 seconds to play in the third, Mogilny showed why he's one of the classiest players in the league. Facing an empty net, his main concern was getting the puck to Matt Stajan to give the youngster the goal. There was an obvious look of disappointment on his face when his lead pass to Stajan went into the net for the Leaf's final goal of the night. Mogilny can play for my team anytime.
