Maple Leafs 0, Canadiens 4

Go Leafs Go!All week I've been telling anyone who'd listen how awesome our forwards are this year. On paper, we have three amazing lines to balance the offensive attack. Sure, our defense is going to be an issue, but with forwards like Mats Sundin, Alexander Mogilny, Owen Nolan, Gary Roberts, Nik Antropov and Joe Nieuwendyk leading the attack, we are in good shape. Or so I thought.

Watching tonight's game was painful. There was no offense to speak of. Our star forwards were virtually invisible. Only teenager Matt Stajan seemed to have a spark. We were humiliated by a far inferior team playing in our own building. The only thing I hate more than losing is losing to the Montreal Canadiens. The last time we played this horribly was...well, it was our last game that mattered when we were blown out by Philadelphia to close out the first round of last year's playoffs. Not to worry. One game does not a season make.
