Grabovski Grabbed, Given 'The Grab' as New Nickname

leafsThe Toronto Maple Leafs acquired young forward Mikhail Grabovski from the Montreal Canadiens earlier today in exchange for a draft pick and a prospect. That draft pick is a 2nd rounder in 2010 and that prospect is Greg Pateryn, a United States Hockey League defenceman we drafted in the 5th round last week.

I'm no Grabovski expert, but from what I've read this doesn't sound like a bad deal. He's only 24 years old and he apparently has some skill. I just hope he's not another Alexander Suglobov. The Grab will definitely get playing time with the Leafs this season because there's a solid lack of centers once Mats moves on.

At some point maybe we'll add a player people have actually heard of.

"At some point maybe we'll add a player people have actually heard of." I hope not. Not until they draft in the first 3 next year anyway

Since when are the Leafs all of a sudden best buddies and willing to make deals with the Montreal Canadiens? Whats up with this. First Montreal gets permission to talk to Mats, now they are making trades with them? Whats next? Thats like the Yankees making a trade or deal with the Red Sox. Ain't gonna happen. So what gives here?
