With a 3-0 lead in the first, I thought this game was going to be in the bag. I figured we could put it in cruise control and slap the two points on the board. I still can't believe we blew it.
It was the first Saturday night this season we didn't hear Bob Cole and Harry Neale calling the play. Jim Hughson and Greg Millen were at the mic and it took me a while to adapt. I can't remember what it was like before Cole and Neale and not hearing them tricks my brain into thinking it's a day other than Saturday. When the time comes that Cole announces his retirement Hughson is a natural choice to assume Saturday night Leaf duties. We could do far worse.
