Jeremy The Bear's Theme Song

rewindNothing takes me back like the theme songs of the television shows I watched on TVOntario in the late 70s and early 80s. I've already covered Barbapapa, Fables of the Green Forest and Dr. Snuggles, but my write up about Jeremy didn't include the obligatory YouTube video. It's time I corrected this oversight.

If you remember Jeremy, you remember that theme song. I saw a lot of Jeremy as a youngin and I only saw him on TVO. He was known as Colargol in France and Barnaby in the UK, but we Canadians knew him only as Jeremy the Bear.

I had forgotten about Jeremy but your flashbacks have my friends at work laughing.....and thinking my goodness we are old. Interesting thing came up......I can probably write down every show I ever watched as a kid....now a days I can't keep track of the shows kids in my class watch in one day!

i found this website (via looking for info on the Green forest, another fave) I used to love this show and all that remains in my memory of it was an episode where the bear is swimming, my vague recollection was that this show was a stop animation involving a bear, i had forgotten all else. I'm so glad to finally figure it out! many thanks!

I love this show. I can't find anyone else who knows who he is. Everyone thinks im crazy. This was my all time favourite kid show. I can't believe I found a website on it.
