Just started listening to the Splash 'N Boots episode and their spiel about
always having something geared towards the parents reminded me of this:
There is a whole series of albums of classic and modern rock as well as metal
staples performed in a lullaby style under the Rockabye Baby brand name. Not
a parent nor will I ever be one, but I have to say that AC/DC and Metallica really
rocked in this format!! A rival company even did an album of Def Leppard classics
in this style!

@Mike,
Uncle Bobby once showed up as a bus driver at my school, and some of
my classmates got into a four-letter-world schoolyard brawl with him when they
started to mock him! It wasn't even nine in the morning and the not so good
Uncle was definitely dealing with the hair of the dog!! If my memory serves me
well, and it most surely does(!), he told the lot of them to 'GO FUDGE (sic) THEMSELVES!!
Ah, to be young in the early 1980s!

@Mike,
And Loverboy also released a song called Jump (co-written) by Bryan
Adams way back in 1981. P.S., is it just me or did Boots seem especially
happy to meet you in the photo?!?

@Mike,
Oh, to be three years old (again!) and in the warm 'n welcoming arms
of a pretty blonde! What a lucky little lad!!

The only show my Grandson is able to watch is Splash'N Boots as can't wait for it every Saturday. My son & Daughter in law took him to see their show in Ottawa last year & he became a fan at 1.5 years old. Looks like the 2010's version of Sharon Louis & Bram.

Tangential, but my favourite Sweet Child 'o Mine cover: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlrzTPnmFvA

Stumbled across it on Alan Cross's site a while back.

I have received more personal notes about this pic than any other pic in the podcast's history...

Glad to see that I'm not the only eagle-eyed Toronto Mike
enthusiast with a keen eye for all the most pertinent details
in this episode's landmark photo!!!

Well, I don't feel so bad now that I'm not the only one that noticed that little "tidbit" in the photo. I took me about .0037 seconds.
